🚀 We're building the home for student life

Year on year, increasing demand for student accommodation is causing a pinch point and panic in the student lettings market. At the same time, industry-old problems are not being resolved. As a result, student housing is heavily overpriced, overcomplicated, unfriendly and decentralised.

Housr is on a mission to change the face of student rental forever.

We want to make finding your next home as easy as ordering an Uber. And we aim not just to simplify the way in which someone finds and manages their home, but we’re on a mission to become the home for student life.

🎯 Open positions

Across all of our roles, we’re looking for people who are comfortable building from zero to one. We’re early in our journey, and need people who are comfortable building a strong foundation on which to scale, and who are really starting on the ground floor.

💚 Our Values

Building a startup is hard. We view building Housr as a marathon, rather than a sprint and we’re working to create an environment where people can do some of the best work of their careers. As we actively work towards this goal, the values below are the ones which guide us in our day-to-day work.

📲 Think customer first

🚀 High ambition, high autonomy

Customer needs are at the core of our decision-making and what we do. We keep our customer’s needs at the front and centre, aiming to exceed their expectations.

We foster a culture of empowerment at all levels, where every team member is encouraged to take ownership, make bold decisions, and drive meaningful change.

🚅 Innovate at speed

⛰️ Stay resilient

Changing the face of student rental is no small task. To meet our audacious goal, we foster a culture of rapid experimentation, and continuous learning.

The scale of our goals will mean we sometimes face setbacks, or fail. We take these setbacks as an opportunity to learn from our mistakes and get better.
